I’ve wanted to start a blog featuring utilities adoption of geospatial information systems (GIS) for many years and figured there is no better time like the present. GIS has evolved rapidly over the last 4-5 years and from my experience utilities haven’t kept pace. The reasons are all over the board as to why this is so I decided to create this forum to share my experiences, thoughts, and crazy ideas and in return hear yours.
I look forward to collaborating over the next weeks, months, and hopefully years.
